He married (1) HALLOWELL, Amanda M. in Philadelphia, Philadelphia Co., PA, about 1865. Amanda was born in Philadelphia, Philadelphia Co., PA April 1849. She was the daughter of HALLOWELL, Rifford R. (Quaker, s/o Joseph) and MEIRIO, Amanda. Amanda died September 13, 1873 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia Co., PA.
PIERCE, Marcus Morton and HALLOWELL, Amanda M. had the following children:
i. Lillian Amanda PIERCE was born in Brideshead, Philadelphia Co., PA August 17, 1867. Lillian died April 30, 1957 in Chehalis, Lewis Co., WA, at 89 years of age. She married BAILEY, David Jackson in Liberty Township, Valley Co., NE, October 27, 1884. David was born in Moravia, Appanoose Co., IA November 19, 1865.
