The photo above, Charity Winegard-Plimpton, has an address on the reverse side: "J. Q. A. Tresize, 101 Main St., Zanesville, O." We found a short biography about J. Q. A. Tresize that stated he was in business at that location between 1860 and 1861.

He mustered out 10 June 1865 @ Nashville Tennessee
ages 17-20 during his years of service. His brother, James W Plimpton, was in the 122nd Regiment Infantry Ohio.

When Neva Plimpton married Abraham Lincoln Brown on March 1, 1888 in Roswell, SD. Neva's fathers name was Charles Henry Plimpton, mother Nancy Ellis Plimpton.

Calvin PLYMPTON's family Bible is about the only thing that survived Charles Henry PLYMPTON's house fire. In the Bible is the name Job with no dates or surname and it also lists twins Elijah T. PLYMTON and Phoebe E. PLIMPTON b. 20 July 1818.

The Elijah b 1818 is thought to be our Calvin's younger brother. Our Calvin was born 1815 so we presume Elijah & Phoebe are his younger siblings.

We are of the opinion that Calvin, Elijah T. & Phoebe E. are the children of Timoty PLYMPTON & Sarah TOWNSEND of Penn Yan. Yates Co. NY and that Sarah TOWNSEND is the daughter of Elijah TOWNSEND & Phoebe WOOD. <<twins named Elijah & Phoebe no coincidence in our opinion>>
